I have always found cats to be fascinating and inspiring animals ever since I discovered a little kitten in the backyard of Goethe Librairie, a renowned German bookstore situated in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The poor creature was left in a shoebox covered in snow. As soon as I opened the box, my heart melted at the sight of this tiny creature.
The friendship that I shared with Minoushka, as I named her, was beautiful and lasted for over 19 years. Even now, she visits me in my dreams, with her cuddles and lemon tarts, which were her favourite. She also had a liking for Handel's music.
