A British Royal Navy Officer

£119.00

Recently, I completed a portrait of a gentleman

with an elegant flair reminiscent of a British Royal Navy Officer

from the 1950s.

In order to achieve this drawing,

I utilised Faber and Castle watercolour pencils

due to their layering and blending capabilities.

Additionally, I opted for Canson's 120-gram bright

paper cut to an A5 size,

which allowed me to work on the project while standing.

The texture of the Faber and Castle pencils

enabled me to blend colours from the spectrum

in order to bring the subject to life.

Canson's paper delivered the ideal surface for the project,

permitting me to capture the intricate details of the subject's profile.

I am pleased with the final result

and hope that it will meet your expectations as well…

Albertino.
